Genovare Peptides | TB-500 25 mg

What It Is TB-500 is a synthetic peptide analogue of the central functional region (amino acids 17–23) of Thymosin Beta-4 (Tβ4), a naturally occurring 43-amino acid actin-sequestering protein found at high concentrations in platelets, macrophages, and wound fluid. The active TB-500 fragment — LKKTETQ — is the region responsible for the majority of Thymosin Beta-4's regenerative activity. TB-500 functions primarily by binding G-actin monomers, thereby regulating cytoskeletal dynamics, promoting cell migration, and accelerating tissue repair. It upregulates VEGF and other angiogenic factors, activates integrin-linked kinase (ILK), and promotes the differentiation of stem cells into endothelial cells. Preclinical studies have explored its activity in cardiac repair, muscle regeneration, tendon healing, corneal wound healing, and neurological repair.

How It Is Used TB-500 is reconstituted with bacteriostatic water and administered via subcutaneous or intramuscular injection. Research applications include angiogenesis and vascularisation studies, musculoskeletal repair models, cardiac biology, cytoskeletal dynamics research, and stem cell differentiation investigations.
