Genovare Pharma Limited ("Genovare", "we", "us") runs genovarepharma.com. The site is an educational reference about Genovare research compounds, plus a tool that checks whether a Genovare product is genuine. Nothing on this site is for sale. This policy explains what information we handle when you use the site and what your choices are.

What we collect

• Codes you check. The product verifier checks the code you type inside your own browser, against the list of codes Genovare has issued. The code you type is not sent to us and we do not store it.
• Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive your name, your email address and anything you choose to include, such as a photo of a box.
• Technical information. Like most websites, the site and our hosting provider, Shopify, automatically record basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and when you view them.

How we use it

We use this information to answer your messages, to keep the site working and secure, to understand in general terms how the site is used so we can improve it, and to meet our legal obligations. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.

Cookies

The site uses cookies and similar technologies that it needs to work, for example to remember that you have read the research-use notice. Where the law requires your consent for analytics cookies, we ask for it first. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site's reference pages and the product verifier will still work.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the service providers that run the site for us (Shopify for hosting, and our email provider), who may use it only to provide their service, or where the law requires us to. Shopify's own privacy policy is at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.

Where it is processed

Genovare Pharma Limited is based in Switzerland. Our service providers may process information in other countries, including Canada, the United States and countries in the European Union. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards that data protection law requires.

How long we keep it

We keep messages for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep a reasonable record, and then delete them. Technical information is kept for the periods set by our hosting provider.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to how we use it, and to complain to a data protection authority. To use any of these rights, email info@genovarepharma.com.

This site is not intended for anyone under 18.
