What It Is This formulation combines two complementary Growth Hormone-stimulating peptides targeting different but synergistic receptor mechanisms.
CJC-1295 is a synthetic 30-amino acid analogue of Growth Hormone-Releasing Hormone (GHRH), modified with a Drug Affinity Complex (DAC) technology that allows covalent binding to serum albumin, significantly extending its plasma half-life relative to endogenous GHRH. It acts on GHRH receptors in the anterior pituitary to stimulate GH synthesis and secretion.
Ipamorelin is a selective GHSR-1a (ghrelin receptor) agonist that stimulates pulsatile GH release from the pituitary through a ghrelin-mimetic mechanism. Its selectivity for the GH secretagogue receptor without significant cortisol, prolactin, or ACTH stimulation makes it a preferred secretagogue in research protocols.
The combination is studied for its dual-mechanism amplification of physiological GH secretion — CJC-1295 providing baseline GH axis stimulation and Ipamorelin providing pulsatile amplification — producing a more robust GH response than either peptide alone.
How It Is Used The blend is reconstituted with bacteriostatic water and administered via subcutaneous injection. Research applications include GH secretion modelling, somatotropic axis pharmacology, body composition research, metabolic signalling studies, and investigations into GH-IGF-1 axis regulation.
