Genovare Peptides | Cerebrolysin 60 mg Pen

What It Is Cerebrolysin is a porcine brain-derived peptide hydrolysate containing a complex mixture of low-molecular-weight neuropeptides (molecular weight <10,000 Da) and free amino acids. The active peptide fraction is believed to mimic the action of endogenous neurotrophic factors, including Nerve Growth Factor (NGF), Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF), Glial Cell Line-Derived Neurotrophic Factor (GDNF), and Ciliary Neurotrophic Factor (CNTF). Due to the small molecular size of its components, the neuropeptide fraction is capable of crossing the blood-brain barrier. Preclinical and clinical studies have investigated Cerebrolysin in the context of neurodegenerative disease, post-stroke neurological recovery, traumatic brain injury, and cognitive impairment. It has been marketed as a pharmaceutical in several European and Asian countries for neurological indications.

How It Is Used Cerebrolysin is administered via intravenous infusion or intramuscular injection in clinical and research settings. Research applications include neuroprotection studies, Alzheimer's disease modelling, stroke recovery research, cognitive function investigations, and neuroplasticity studies.
